DSE Search is powered by Apache Solr which is built on top of Apache Lucene. Lucene is the defacto information retrieval library used by other Search technology.

  • Search functionality is built on top of the DSE’s Core database, which is the best distribution of Apache Cassandra™ available.

  • This integration provides distributed, multi-datacenter and hybrid/multi cloud capabilities for search where your Data is always-on and available.

  • DSE Search Integrates and improves on industry-leading search functionality for our use cases.

Simple primary key of just 1 field. Limits our ability to query with pure CQL.
